(BPCIL), a wholly owned subsidiary of BP; SK Global Chemical (Seoul); and Sinopec Sichuan Vinylon Works (SVW) say they have signed a memorandum of understanding to build an integrated acetic acid and 1,4 butanediol (BDO) complex at Chongqing, China at an estimated cost of Rmb7 billion ($1.1 billion).
