BP Increases PTA Capacity in China Including a New Plant

BP says it is proceeding with a project that will result in a major increase in purified terephthalic acid (PTA) production capacity at the company’s BP Zhuhai Chemical Co. subsidiary at Zhuhai, China. BP Zhuhai is a joint venture between BP and Zhuhai Port Co., formerly Fu Hua Group.
