BASF to produce fine chemical catalysts at Mangalore, India

BASF says it plans to start production of precious metal–based fine chemical catalysts at the company’s manufacturing site at Mangalore, India. These catalysts are used in the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients. Startup is slated for the second quarter of 2013.
