BASF and Sinopec Seek Approval for Nanjing Petchem Expansion

BASF and Sinopec have submitted for approval by the Chinese government the technical and commercial feasibility study for a previously announced expansion of the companies’ BASF-YPC Co. (BYC) joint venture at Nanjing, China. Completion of the study was formalized by Sinopec president Wang Tianpu and BASF board member Martin Brudermüller at a signing ceremony in Beijing recently.
