Arkema Awards Contract for Clear Lake Investment to Jacobs

Arkema has awarded a contract to Jacobs Engineering to provide engineering, procurement, and construction management services for two previously announced projects at Arkema’s Clear Lake, TX facility. The main project will enhance the reliability and competitiveness of the site’s acrylic acid plant. The upgrade will result in a slight decrease in acrylic acid capacity at Clear Lake, to 270,000 m.t./year on completion in early 2013.
