Air Products awarded contract for four on-site ASUs as part of China coal-gasification project

Air Products says it has received its second-largest air separation unit (ASU) on-site order for a single project. The company has signed a long-term agreement with Shanxi Lu’An Mining Group (Lu’an, China) to build, own, and operate four ASUs for the production of oxygen, nitrogen, and compressed instrument air, as well as steam to supply Shanxi Lu’An’s process trains, at a future coal-gasification facility at Changzhi, Shanxi Province, China....
