Air Liquide to build CO plant at Rotterdam to supply Huntsman

Air Liquide will invest â‚¬65 million ($87.1 million) to build a carbon monoxide (CO) manufacturing plant at Rotterdam. This follows the signing of a long-term contract recently with Huntsman Corp. to supply CO to Huntsmanâ€™s two methylene di- para -phenylene isocyanate plants at Rozenburg, in the port of Rotterdam. The new CO unit will be located next to Air Liquideâ€™s existing facilities and will start production in the first half of 2015.
