Chemical Week Magazine :: New Construction Projects Air Liquide Expands In Southern Africa1:45 PM MDT | July 25, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Air Liquide says it is investing more than €20 million ($27 million) to expand industrial gases capacity in southern Africa. The company says it is building a liquefier near Durban, South Africa that will more than double capacity there. It will also build a carbon dioxide (CO2) recovery and purification unit near Cape Town as part of plans to double overall CO2 capacity in South Africa over the next two years.
