Air Liquide Builds Industrial Gases Plant in Turkey

Air Liquide plans to construct a 400-m.t./day oxygen production facility at Petkim’s Aliaga, Turkey complex. The facility is due onstream in the second half of 2013. The project forms part of a deal signed between Petkim and Air Liquide under which Air Liquide will supply oxygen, nitrogen, and compressed air at the Aliaga manufacturing site. Air Liquide will acquire Petkim’s three air gas production units at Aliaga, which have total production capacity of almost 400 m.t./day of oxygen, as part of the deal.
