Agrium Seeks Site for U.S. Fertilizer Investment

Agrium says it is planning a nitrogen fertilizer plant in the U.S. Midwest and that it is looking for a suitable site. The company says it is looking to take advantage of low natural gas prices in the U.S. The plant would be designed to produce 2 million m.t./year of fertilizers, mainly urea and urea ammonium nitrate, and would likely be completed in early 2017.
