Abu Dhabi to build first chlor- alkali manufacturing complex

Saif Al Khaili Group (Abu Dhabi), a privately owned conglomerate with wide-ranging interests, has signed an agreement with Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (Kizad) to build two manufacturing facilities at Kizad, including a chlor-alkali manufacturing complex, Abu Dhabi’s first chlor-alkali facility. The complex will form part of the Emirates Chemical Factory, a subsidiary of Saif Al Khaili. The agreements were signed by Khaled Salmeen, CEO of Kizad; and Saif Al Khaili, chairman of Saif Al Khaili Group. The complex will be designed to produce 400,000 m.t./year...
