Air Liquide to build CO plant at Rotterdam to supply Huntsman

Air Liquide will invest €65 million ($87.1 million) to build a carbon monoxide (CO) manufacturing plant at Rotterdam. This follows the signing of a long-term contract recently with Huntsman Corp. to supply CO to Huntsman’s two methylene di- para -phenylene isocyanate plants at Rozenburg, in the port of Rotterdam. The new CO unit will be located next to Air Liquide’s existing facilities and will start production in the first half of 2015.
