Uhde awarded large contract for fertilizer in Turkey

ThyssenKrupp Uhde says it has been awarded a turnkey contract by Bandirma GÃ¼bre Fabrikalari (Bandirma, Turkey) to build a fertilizer complex. The new facility will be integrated into the Turkish companyâ€™s existing complex located on the south coast of the Sea of Marmara and will produce calcium ammonium nitrate (CAN). The contract is worth approximately â‚¬141.0 million ($191.4 million). Commissioning is scheduled for early 2015.
