Mitsubishi Chemical to license oxo alcohols technology to Qatar jv

Mitsubishi Chemical has reached an agreement with Shell Chemicals for the licensing of Mitsubishi’s oxo alcohols technology at the Al Karaana Petrochemicals complex at Ras Laffan, Qatar—a joint venture with 20% and 80% stakes held by Shell and Qatar Petroleum (Doha), respectively.
