Qatar Petroleum (QP) has invited companies to carry out feasibility studies for propylene and aromatics complexes to be built at Ras Laffan, Qatar, near existing liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) producers, to take advantage of the country’s increasing feedstock availability. Qatar overtook Saudi Aramco in 2011 to become the largest exporter of LPG.
