Shenhua selects Novolen process for world-scale PP plant

Shenhua Ningxia Coal Industry Group (Yinchuan, China) has selected Novolen polypropylene (PP) technology for a world-scale plant to be built at Lingwu, China, near Yinchuan, CB&I says. CB&I will provide the license and engineering design for the facility, which will have capacity for 600,000 m.t./year of PP. The unit will add to two Novolen-technology facilities already operating at the site.
