Chemical Week Magazine :: Information Technology EPA Resumes Library Closure Process1:51 PM MDT | July 25, 2007 | Kara Sissell EPA has continued dismantling its libraries in violation of a recent order from lawmakers to suspend the effort, according to EPA memorandums released by the Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (Peer; Washington). An EPA April memo to staff orders libraries to “disperse or dispose of” their contents. Lawmakers led by Representative Bart Gordon (D., TN) told the agency late last year to stop the process until the matter can be investigated (CW, Dec. 13, 2006, p. 34).
