Sales of manufactured products rose 1% in November, the third consecutive increase. Shipments of durables were up 0.2%, while nondurables advanced 1.8%. Part of the increase in nondurables was the result of rapid gains in energy prices, however. Third-quarter sales of manufactured products rose 1.5%, the first increase in five quarters.
