Ethylene Output Up in the Americas

Ethylene production for the first nine months of 2006 in North and South America rose 9% from the year-ago period, to 3.2 million m.t., says the National Petrochemical & Refiners Association (NPRA; Washington). Benzene production for the same period dropped 6% from the previous year, to 6.4 million m.t., NPRA says.
