There was a 0.9% drop in new orders for manufactured products in November, but that came on the heels of a 3% gain in October. On the whole, new orders are 12.5% ahead of last year, with orders for durables up 14.7%. Industrial production in the chemical-process industries advanced 0.7% in October and again in November.
