DuPont has named Gary Spitzer senior v.p./integrated operations and engineering, effective May 1. Spitzer, currently president/chemicals and fluoroproducts, succeeds Jeffrey Coe, who is retiring after 38 years with DuPont. Thierry Vanlacker will succeed Spitzer as president/chemicals and fluoroproducts on May 1. Spitzer joined DuPont in 1979 and has served in a number of business and leadership roles throughout the globe.
