Amvac Chemical has made three new executive appointments. James Lehman has been named v.p./sales, Peter Porpiglia director/product development, and Jeannie Smith Hemiller director/regulatory affairs. Lehman joined Amvac in 2009 as Midwest regional sales manager after more than two decades with BASF and American Cyanamid. Porpiglia was most recently head of global product development with Arysta LifeScience, and has also worked for K-I Chemical and Ciba-Geigy/Novartis.
