3M has made two new executive appointments. H.C. Shin has been named executive v.p./international operations and Christopher Holmes has replaced Shin as executive v.p./industrial and transportation business. Both appointments are effective immediately. Holmes, who joined 3M in 1986, was most recently v.p. and general manager/abrasive systems division.
