Sherwin-Williams has named Richard Smucker lead director of the company’s board of directors. The move took effect April 20. Smucker is chairman and co-CEO of The J.M. Smucker Company, a food products company. He has served on Sherwin-Williams’ board for twenty years, and is a member of the compensation and management development committee and the nominating and corporate governance committee.
