Key Changes

BASF has made several changes to its board of executive directors. Hans-Ulrich Engel has been named CFO and will head all finance functions and business development in North America. Margaret Suckale has been named industrial relations director, and will be responsible for environment, health and safety, and human resources. Michael Heinz will head care chemicals, performance chemicals and other specialty businesses. All changes will be effective at BASF’s next annual meeting on May 6, 2011.
