Westlake Chemical has named Robert Buesinger senior v.p./vinyls. He succeeds Wayne Morse, who will retire at the end of April. Buesinger previously led Chevron Phillips Chemical’s alpha olefins and poly-alpha olefins businesses. Borealis has named IPIC Managing Director H.E. Khadem Al Qubaisi chairman of the company’s supervisory board. He takes on the rotating role, previously held by Gerhard Roiss, until the end of 2011.
