LyondellBasell has appointed Bob Patel senior v.p./olefins and polyolefins, Americas, a newly created position. Patel was most recently general manager/olefins and natural gas liquids for Chevron Phillips Chemicals (CPChem), where he was responsible for strategic planning, feedstock procurement, base chemicals marketing, and pipeline system management.
