BASF has named Gerry Podesta v.p./polyurethanes for North America. Podesta was previously v.p./coatings and plastic chemicals in North America for BASF. He replaces Bill Bernstein, who is retiring on July 17. Gerry Podesta Matthias L. Wolfgruber has been reappointed CEO of Altana. Wolfgruber joined Altana in 2002 and was first appointed CEO in 2007.
