Butane and naphtha each gained a penny, while propane rose 2 cts/gal. Ethane swung to a 5-cts/gal gain. The U.S. olefins market concluded several settlements. Ethylene gained 2.75 cts/lb, to settle at 37.25 cts/lb for October. After falling 10 cts/lb in October contracts, proplyene posted a gain of 2.5 cts/lb, to 55.5 cts/lb for November contracts.
