Ethane fell 4 cts/gal and butane lost 2 cts/gal, while naphtha gained 8 cts/gal and propane rose 2 cts/gal. U.S. olefins saw a flurry of activity in both spot prices and contract settlements. Spot ethylene rose about 10 cts/lb, while the March contract settlement was agreed to at an increase of 3 cts/lb. Propylene contracts for April rose 7 cts/lb for both grades, while spot polymer-grade eased about 4 cts/lb from recent highs. Spot butadiene was quiet while the April contract price gained 8...
