Ethane and propane each lost 3 cts/gal, naphtha was down about 8 cts/gal, and butane fell 6 cts/gal. U.S. spot olefins were active. Spot propylene was up about 10 cts/lb for both grades and spot butadiene gained about 3 cts/lb amid tight market conditions, market sources say. February contracts for propylene settled at a gain of 6.5 cts/lb. European naphtha lost about $15/m.t., while spot ethylene prices held steady.
