Rising crude oil and natural gas prices pushed North American feedstocks higher. ethane gained about a penny, naphtha rose about 3 cts/gal, while propane gained about 2 cts/gal and butane added about 1 ct/gal. Among North American olefins, spot ethylene fell about a penny, while notional assessments of spot propylene were down about 4 cts/lb for both grades, market players say.
