Falling crude oil prices led North American feedstock prices to tumble. ethane and propane both lost 2 cts/gal, while butane fell a penny. Naphtha lost about 1 cts/gal. Among U.S. olefins, spot ethylene ticked up about 1 ct/lb, while spot propylene lost about 2 cts/lb. It is likely that there will be a three-month ethylene contract settlement, market players say.
