Prices for petrochemicals and primary hydrocarbons were back on the roller-coaster last week. Crude oil prices were nominally higher from the previous week’s levels but were headed below a plateau of $50/bbl at CW presstime. Natural gas on the Henry Hub Index remained unchanged at $3.59/million Btu, its lowest level in more than five years. However, spot naphtha in Europe gained $50/m.t.
