Oil and petrochemical price gains last month were reversed last week as oil costs fell, market sources say. West Texas Intermediate crude slipped $5.28/bbl and Brent crude slid $2.78/bbl, both settling at $48.20/bbl. Natural gas on the Henry Hub Index deflated by 50 cts, to $3.59/million Btu. In North America, propane fell about 4 cts/gal. Spot ethylene was flat, while the March contract remains unsettled.
