Crude oil prices climbed from their recent record lows but were not enough to affect the downstream market, sources say. West Texas Intermediate crude oil rose $2.54/bbl, to $41.65/bbl and continued to close ground on Brent crude, which increased $1.79/bbl, to $43.38/bbl. Natural gas on the Henry Hub Index modestly accelerated, rising about a quarter to $4.43/mBtu. Spot naphtha in Europe regained the $10/m.t. that it lost the week before. Spot ethylene rose €20/m.t.
