However, steam cracker operators got the chance to restore margin with spot ethylene prices up €60/m.t. on top of the previous weeks’ gains. All three March olefins contracts have settled in Europe. Ethylene was settled at an €85/m.t. increase, while propylene rose by €42/m.t. However, butadiene fell €30/m.t. to €395/m.t.
