Petrochemical prices remained quiet last week, despite declines in primary hydrocarbon prices. The tumultuous U.S. economy drove spot prices for West Texas Intermediate Crude (WTI) down by $12.52/bbl to near record lows of $37.78/bbl last week. However, Brent crude held to a $5.91/bbl decline, to $45.05/bbl. Natural gas on the Henry Hub Index shed 11 cts/million Btu to $5.71/million Btu.
