The tumultuous U.S. economy drove spot prices for West Texas Intermediate Crude (WTI) down by $12.52/bbl to near record lows of $37.78/bbl last week. However, Brent crude held to a $5.91/bbl decline, to $45.05/bbl. Natural gas on the Henry Hub Index shed 11 cts/million Btu to $5.71/million Btu. There is little enthusiasm to do business in the petchem sector after the holidays and in the wake of historic price declines last year, market sources say. Spot naphtha in...
