Spot naphtha prices in Europe continued to slide, losing $60/m.t., despite a dampening of crude prices. That pulled spot olefins down as well. Ethylene shed €20/m.t. while propylene lost €30/m.t. and butadiene declined $50/m.t. Olefins producers say they are less concerned with absolute numbers than with the differential to feedstocks.
