Ethane prices eased to $1.35 cts/gal, and spot ethylene prices fell with them to 63 cts-64 cts/lb. June and July contracts remain unsettled. Ethylene producers say they are pushing for increases of more than of 10 cts/lb, because most heavier feedstocks are still unprofitable at current pricing. Spot propylene prices were quiet. In Europe, falling crude prices caused spot naphtha to lose $170/m.t. That was good news for cracker operators, who continued to boost olefins prices amid strong...
