Choppy crude oil prices fueled increases in most North American feedstocks. Ethane rose about 7 cts/gal and naphtha gained about 4 cts/gal, while butane added about 6 cts/gal. propane was down about 2 cts/gal. Spot U.S. olefins prices were mostly down in sluggish trading, market sources say. Ethylene fell about 3 cts/lb and both grades of propylene lost about a penny.
