Olefins producers on the U.S. Gulf Coast say they are cracking slightly heavier feedstock due to higher ethane and propane prices. Propylene supply from refineries is curtailed because they are running to optimize fuels production. U.S. prices declined last week, and buyers said they were reducing purchases in the wake of higher prices. C3 demand is still sound, market watchers say.
