Ethylene spot prices in the U.S. are approaching contract levels, with trade reportedly done at 39 cts/lb del. U.S. propylene spot prices were fueled by strong demand from the gasoline sector, rising to level off at contract prices. Butadiene markets were also tight, prompting producers to announce a 3-cts/lb increase for May contracts.
