U.S. spot ethylene prices continued to rise last week on the back of brisk trade, increasing about 2 cts/lb. Propylene spot prices also advanced, by around 3 cts/lb, on increased demand from polypropylene (PP) producers. April propylene contracts in the U.S. are expected to rise 4 cts/lb, in line with a similar increase on refinery grade propylene contracts, sources say.
