Prices stagnated at 36.5 cts/lb del, with buying ideas at 35 cts/lb del, sources say. Propylene spot prices firmed to around 39 cts/lb del in line with strengthening downstream demand. Butadiene spot prices in the U.S. have slipped closer to contract levels, as tight markets eased. December butadiene contracts slipped 2 cts/lb, to 53 cts/lb del, market players say.
