Ethane prices finished flat after a brief uptick, while butane lost 5 cts/gal. The downward momentum in spot ethylene prices also slowed, with prices losing a penny last week after posting steep falls earlier this month. The direction is still trending lower, however with a spot deal done at 44.625 cts/lb last week for August delivery, and a deal for September delivery was completed at 44.25 cts/lb, market sources say.
