Butane lost 8 cts/gal. U.S. spot ethylene dropped another 3 cts/lb last week. Demand is falling, as buyers hold off to see how far prices will fall, sources say. Ethylene contract settlements fell short of producer expectations due to the sharp decline in feedstock costs and tumbling spot prices. Contracts settled 5 cts/lb higher for June and 4 cts/lb higher for July, market sources say. Producers had nominated 15 cts/lb for July to recoup negative margins for...
