Producers are moderating production in response to weakening demand, sources say. Ethylene contracts settled up 3 cts/lb, and producers have nominated increases of 5 cts/lb and 7 cts/lb for April contracts, sources say. U.S. butadiene contracts for April settled 5 cts higher, to 69 cts/lb, a sizable increase but still below the 8 cts-10 cts/lb that have been nominated.
