Political unrest in oil regions increased last week, pushing global crude prices higher. West Texas Intermediate gained $3.57, to $93.59/bbl. Brent crude kept pace rising $3.13, to $92.72. Cold weather battered most of North America, driving natural gas prices 83 cts higher. U.S. spot ethylene prices continued to tumble, losing another penny on concerns about downstream demand.
