Specialties: Limited Growth Ahead

Specialty chemical producers expect the sector to continue to grow in 2011, but at a modest pace compared to last year. Emerging markets will drive demand, while growth in developed regions will mostly remain soft, especially in the paints and coatings and adhesives and sealants markets, two of the largest specialty chemical sectors.
